Welcome, wanderers…
My name is Jenice, the founder of Art Is Life Cafe.
The seeds for this space were planted during the pandemic, while I was pregnant with my second child. I made intention candles in my kitchen and gave readings in my living room, connecting with others over the phone, online, or on Zoom.
From 2015 to 2018, I ran a little spot called Art Is Life Studio, a hub for inclusive artistic expression. Transitioning that environment into a spiritual shop felt aligned, even though I wasn’t sure if I could create the space I envisioned. I manifested that dream into an online shop and never looked back, opening two venues as beta versions of my concept along the way. While they weren’t the right fit, they were invaluable stepping stones that clarified what this space was truly meant to be and offered me the chance to support many souls on their spiritual explorations.
Our current suite in Arlington is another part of that process — a cozy placeholder that gives us the time and space to move with intention, heal, align with what’s next, and exhale.
As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, intuitive, and clairsentient, I understand the importance of belonging and non-judgment. That’s the foundation of Art Is Life Cafe — a welcoming, grounded space for exploring spirituality, creativity, and healing. This is a sanctuary for those navigating the chaos of life, transforming it into beautiful alchemy. It’s where you’re invited to honor your truth and feel empowered with guidance, support, art, and spiritual resources to enhance your path.
Because everything we do is art, and art is life.
